The triskele symbol, also referred to as triskelion, dates back to 3000BC Ireland. Many believe it to be the oldest symbols of spirituality. The iconic triple spiral has been found on stone carvings. Examples can be seen on the entrance stone to Newgrange Stone Age Passage Tomb.
