Since winning the award at Showcase Ireland last month we've been really busy working on orders for new stockists. While I wrote about our Showcase Ireland award I noticed I hadn't shared some of the many photos I took in the show. There was so many amazing things on display this year, just proving that Irish design is thriving!
Here is our stand. In keeping with the company colours I went for charcoal and silver wallpaper. The lighting was very bright so the colours didn't come out the best in this photo. Since we hand make all our jewellery I thought it was a good idea to highlight this by including an image from the workshop in our signs. I also brought some of my tools along to use in the display! We used the three plinths to showcase some of our new designs in these lovely glass bell jars.
I really love the social side to Showcase. It's a great opportunity to meet up with other makers. This year I had lots of lovely neighbours like Sabine from Enibas and Helena from Helena Malone Goldsmiths.
I took this photo of my award and trophy. As the awards were presented on the first day of the show, I was able to have my gorgeous silver trophy on display in my stand.
All the Showcase Selected products were put on display throughout the exhibition halls. It was lovely to see Claddagh Design listed in signs around the show as the overall winner for our Claddagh ring. So I just had to get a photo!
So I hope that gives you a taste of what Showcase Ireland is all about. Now that our orders have gone out to our new stockists I'll be writing next week about some of our lovely new stockists so you'll know where to go to see Claddagh Design jewellery in the flesh.
